Kids Holi - 2026

Namaste parents 🙏🏽 Everyone’s favorite festival is fast approaching and we invite you to register yours and your children’s attendance at this much loved event. Colours are provided and we request a plate of vegetarian eats to share. As this is a fundraising event, we require all parents and children to register via the link to be shared. Please note that no water or water guns are permitted. Children and parents are to come to school that day in “old clothes”. The event is only open to students of the school and its alumni. General Safety of Holi
Although the powder is designed to be non-toxic, inhaling any fine powder in large amounts can irritate lungs, and people with asthma or respiratory conditions should take extra precautions or avoid dense clouds of powder.

What to Protect

Eyes

• Wear sunglasses or goggles — this helps keep powder out of your eyes and prevents irritation.

Mouth & Nose

• Use a bandana or dust mask if you’re worried about inhaling powder, especially if you have breathing sensitivities.

Electronics

• Cover phones/cameras with a plastic wrap or zip-lock bag to protect them from powder.

🧒 Tips for Children & Sensitive Groups

• Encourage kids (and adults with sensitivities) to use protective gear like goggles and masks.
• Avoid spraying or throwing powder directly at faces — aim at clothes or into the air instead.
